About This Blog
Hey all, I'm a person (I think) and I have some reviews of television shows you might like to read. Lacking the time and inclination to review single episodes, I tend to look at overall seasons, usually giving my impressions soon after their initial broadcast. All of these reviews are 90% spoiler-free and are OPINION. Except for wherever I say The Wire is brilliant. That is FACT.
About Me
Born in Liverpool (you know, the one with the Beatles) and educated in Oxford (you know, the one with the gentlemen wearing suits, bowler hats and smoking cigars whilst saying "Crikey" quite a lot), I'm currently doing a DPhil in Quantum... Things.
I have at least one interest and one of them is television. Particularly the ones the 'critics' all bang on about; I like to think they're just following me, not the other way round :-) I tend to only review shows that I like, so see the list below for some of my faves. Other past gems include Buffy, The West Wing, Firefly and Life on Mars. The Wire is absolutely amazing, but you won't see me write that much about it because I don't deem myself intelligent enough to give it its due praise. Watch it!
